As founder of the business in 1995 Helene remains very hands on and "the face" of the business in the South. Formally trained in catering and hotel management with a successful record of entrepreneurial development prior to Avenue, Helene now leads the front end sales effort for Avenue South. Blessed with a photographic memory, Helene has an encyclopaedic knowledge of venues, with a creative flair and the determination to always find that special location for your events. Helene's mantra is: "if it's out there we will find it and if it's not we will create it". When not researching the latest venues far and wide Helene hits the little white ball around the countryside and practices the culinary arts with considerable skill.
